24 Hours in London

Updated: May 8, 2020

Sights

An ever changing yet somehow timeless skyline, gazed at open-mouthed from the Ben Pimlott building's sixth floor, Goldsmiths university.

Energetic local dancers practising their upbeat African choreography for church the next morning, on Goldsmiths' college green.

The Capital's contrasting architecture, from space age multicoloured titans in the City, to grey, Soviet-era, bunker-like flats by Euston station.

Sounds

AJ × Deno ft EO's 'London's bass and badass beats.

Angelic voices in the Evensong choir, rising up like incense to the heavens via St Paul's Cathedral's majestic dome.

Smells

Borough Market's melting pot, a plethora of aromas derived from all seven continents.

Sensations

June heat and metropolis haze.

Tastes

A taste of Mediterranean sunshine here in Blighty- Four cheese and walnut gnocchi accompanied by red berry panna cotta, finished off with a cool 'Sex on the beach' cocktail, at Kingston's hidden Italian gem, Trattoria Calabrese.
