Travel Tuesdays.

Every Tuesday evening, a group of us from my university attend a life drawing session.

Two hours of sketching naked bodies and we inevitably work up an appetite.

For the past few months, our solution to this has been to sample grub from a different country every week, and it has become somewhat of a dining ritual. (We don’t limit ourselves to Tuesdays though, sometimes our feasting binges spill out into other days of the week too 😉).

This is perhaps one of my favourite aspects of residing in London, it must be the most multicultural hub on the planet. Every week I look forward to Tuesdays, and anticipate what nosh we may sample next.

Our journey began with hearty Greek gyros, and has taken us to spicy South Indian dosa, via flavour-packed Korean bibimbap, stringy Italian stone baked pizzas, fiery Thai Kaeng curry, glorious Sri Lankan Kottu Roti, flavoursome Mexican tacos, monstrous sandwiches, burgers and milkshakes from the US of A, and North Indian ambrosia in the form of doughy butter naan and palak paneer. The last weeks have featured Caribbean dumplings and moreish fish stew, a classic British roast and some freshly prepared, tangy and delicious Venezuelan arepas.

Big love to my friends, whose company I enjoy even more than the food. 😉

Where should we eat next? Any suggestions?
