This beauty of a lady was peacefully sat by a dam in Pokhara, Nepal. I interrupted her smiling trance to ask for a photo, and she nodded what I assume, was a 'yes'.
This was just after we crossed a thrilling suspension bridge, and just before we followed a random Nepalese man into the jungle, and were led on the most intense and sweaty hour of uphill hiking of our lives. I even got bitten by a leech which was a first, very exciting indeed. We then emerged onto a hilltop and wandered up to Pokhara's Peace Pagoda and its stunning views of the surrounding lush mountains. The 'peace' was humourously interrupted by a security guard who fancied himself a librarian, and was scolding all the tourists to be quiet by the pagoda. In my opinion, worth all the sweating and the leech for a truly spectacular adventure of an afternoon.
