PARIS. A CITY OF CONTRASTS.

◇PARIS. A CITY OF CONTRASTS.◇ September 4th.

These past few days I have absolutely adored exploring what has to be my favourite city on Earth.

.

.

.

Exploring the hectic city by bike allowed me to go at my own pace, and also to observe the Ville Lumière differently. I split my time between well known tourist sites like the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, and the lesser known, grittier Paris, the exciting and vibrant African, Arab and Asian quarters of Belleville and Château Rouge, and I've realised Paname is truly a city of CONTRASTS:

Decadance and deprivation. Green and polluted. Chauvinist yet multicultural. Churches and synagogues next to strip clubs. Charcuterie and vegan revolutions. It's not all pretty nor perfect, but that's what Paris is. In between the contrasts there is a multifaceted city, alive, breathing, and constantly evolving.
